Mission, Goals and Learning Outcomes

BS in Applied Mathematics and AI

Program Mission, Goals/Educational Objectives, Learning Outcomes and Graduate Attributes

  • To prepare graduates with rigorous foundations in mathematical analysis, numerical methods, optimization, and probability, enabling them to design, analyze, and implement computational methods, artificial intelligence systems, and cryptographic solutions. The program aims to develop professionals who can address complex real-world problems through mathematically grounded modelling, ethical practices, and advanced computational techniques.

The educational objectives of the BS program in Applied Mathematics and AI are for the graduates to satisfy the following within a few years of graduation:

  • Attain employment in the governmental or private sector, or engage in entrepreneurship. (PEO1)
  • Advance their careers by demonstrating leadership and interpersonal skills, including teamwork and communication skills. (PEO2)
  • Pursue their professional development through self-learning or pursue advanced degrees. (PEO3)
