A maximum of 6 credit hours of 400 levels can be counted.
To complete the M.S. program, a candidate must:
Complete a minimum of 24 semester-credit-hours within the following limitations:
At least 18 credit hours must be in Statistics, of which STAT 501, STAT 502 and STAT 510 must be taken as core courses
Take the seminar course STAT 599 under the guidelines provided by the graduate bulletin.
Prepare a thesis on a subject of his/her choice according to the general procedures of the Deanship of Graduate Studies. The thesis work count as 6 semester-credit –hours, thus bringing the total number of required credit –hours to 30.
