Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4 from an institution of acceptable standing according to the criteria defined by the Deanship of Graduate Studies at KFUPM (A master degree will no longer be required for admission to the Ph.D. program).

Applicants should also meet the standards of performance in any requirement by the Deanship of Graduate and Interdisciplinary Studies https://cgis.kfupm.edu.sa (for example IELTS/TOEFL/DUOLINGO). An applicant with deficiency may be admitted, with the understanding that the course work taken to remove the deficiency will not be credited towards the degree.
