from Bachelor's Degree
Master's degree is no longer required for admission to the PhD program. Qualified students can now apply directly with a Bachelor's degree.

Academic Qualification
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
from an institution of acceptable standing according to the criteria defined by the
Deanship of Graduate Studies at KFUPM.
A Master's degree is no longer required for admission
Minimum GPA Requirement
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 / 4.0 is required from the undergraduate degree.
English Proficiency
Applicants should meet the standards of performance in English proficiency requirements set by the
Deanship of Graduate and Interdisciplinary Studies.
Deficiency Courses
An applicant with academic deficiency may be admitted, with the understanding that the
course work taken to remove the deficiency will not be credited towards the degree.
