Notes:

  • The graduate coordinator will be the academic advisor of the fresh graduate students.
  • The thesis advisor should be chosen not later than the end of the 1st semester of enrollment and will act also as the academic advisor of the student.
  • The student must seek the approval of the academic advisor for any course she/he registers.
  • Each student is expected to submit his detailed degree plan according to the above generic degree plan for approval by the Department and the Deanship of Graduate Studies in the first semester of enrollment.
  • Students are required to adhere to the regulations of the degree plan. No relaxations will be given to any student, and courses taken in conflict of the above will not be counted towards the degree.
  • The order of taking the courses can be different from above, but students must take courses from the major/minor area before electives.
