M.Sc. Degree as an Exit

Alternative pathway for PhD students to obtain a Master's degree

M.Sc. in Mathematics will be awarded to students who are either unable to pass the comprehensive exam or choose to discontinue their studies at KFUPM, provided they meet the following requirements:

Requirements

Completion of 30 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.

Successfully defending an MS thesis (MATH 610).

The student does NOT have an MS degree from KFUPM (in Mathematics).
